What this measure does
Repeal the three education revenue funds and apply that money to the Teachers' Retirement System
A yes vote means
The three education funds go away and that money goes to pay teacher pensions instead.
A no vote means
The three education funds stay as they are and the money keeps going to schools the old way.
Simple explanation
Right now the state has three separate money pots that fund schools. This measure takes all that money and dumps it into the teachers' retirement fund instead. So teachers get better retirement benefits, but it changes how schools get paid.
