Ed Markey (D) has served in the U.S. Senate since 2013, after serving in the U.S. House from 1976 to 2013. He co-authored the Green New Deal resolution. In 2020 he won a contested Democratic primary against Rep. Joe Kennedy III. Stated priorities include climate policy, consumer protection, and arms control.
